Sala Razzmatazz hosted French Fries this past Saturday and it smelled of Chicago. While the bigger rooms had a huge turnout (Mumbai Science), the Lolita Room, where Mr. Frenchy was playing had 20 people bouncing around and poundng back gin n tonics. Fresh air, barren dancefloor, hypnotic “bitchy” sounds and gifs pon gifs. The boys and girls from Agenda Playground were there to capture the moment. Nice group of journalists who specialize in London, Berlin, Barcelona and New York. Thanks for this “broken hand” capture. More photos from the event at their Google + Board

PHOTO - DUBTHAT DANCE
This is how we start our mornings and how we end out nights. The end is just like the beginning.
He ya champion bubblers, Dub That 3 is here before you could repack your pipe. Now ease up on da puffs and give this playlist a spin. A balanced selection of old classics and new booty bouncin’ bashment tunes. So grab yo tights, do a few yoga stretches and get ready for a 36 minute Tai-Bo workout (Dip n’ Dub style).
We should be doing work but instead we’re browsing ladies profiles. Facebook is a runway and we’re all a bunch of Cowells, but its all fun and games. We love you ladies.
DIP THIS 3
Lucky number 3 and it comes with completo fuerza, trying to pick the beats that can make you smile, party, dance, and roll around in the sheets. We recently paid a visit to the Eclipse Club in the W Hoteland realized that dis whole trap ting is full of high heels. Girl, how you gonna get down to trap in high heels? So we made sure that our selections have something special about em, something for the heads maybe. So we bring you the Dip This 3 (No High Heels Edition).
It begins with the new and hot remake of Rihanna’s Stay single…
We on this house thing now. We can sit here and share a coffee over a long EDM discussion, but let’s save our minutes for the better things in life (blueberry juice, ginger cubes covered in sugar, and this DeepnDub house playlist). We’re welcoming this new chapter (sub-plot) in our lives with open arms. We’ll trying to be digging as much as we can to uncover some beauties. The DeepnDub list focuses on the 4/4 and celebrates the subtleness.
Kicking off a couple of things here. Sonar & Off Sonar and everything in between is kicking off already. We threw the video up for the trailer 3 months agoand now it’s like a full blown up ting. For the official (and full) Sonar lineup, it’s over at the official siteand for y’all that are more into the chiiler (and cheap..er) kinda thing, RA’s got a whole Off Sonar guideto make it easy.
So in spirit of all that said, my Metro Boyz half threw me this video and said “…And this party got shut down”. It’s a Hotel Plaza Catalunya rooftop party hosted by the Culprit and Leftroom labels. Now we don’t usually do house. True. But we believe that Barcelona can convert you. The house bug caught up with us and now we wanna drank champagne, wear our flippy floppies to the pool parties, and just soak in the coastal vibes to a deep house beat.
In new discoveries and desires to expand into unkown territory, we begin a new feature entitled Deep n Dub, where we enter into the deepest parts of our cerebrums and try to a explore a genre extraño
SKY ART - Great Minds
Great minds think alike but not exactly. If you know me then you know I’m all about taking photos of the tops of buildings. I learned it from my favorite photographer Matthias Heidericha couple years back and have been copying the style ever since, but I did not advance or evolve the idea. Well French artist, Thomas Lamadieu, was one step ahead and did. He’s taking the photos and combining them with cartoonish sketches. The idea seems simple enough, but for some reason the execution seems inspiring. Clever and cool.
“Terre d’Erice is a fictionary winery from Erice, Sicily” states Ma7, and who actually buys wine knowing anything about the winery? As far as I can remember, every single bottle I’ve ever purchased was purely based on the design of the label, and I’ll tell you what, it’s worked out 99% of the time, or maybe it’s all in the power of the mind. The label can say a lot about the wine, “modern, simple, classy, hip” and my favorite Italian designer here proves the point. He designed a whole advertising scheme for this project and though this is all make-believe, my lips are thirsty for this red.
A man who has been my longest running “role model” to date and the wonderful thing is that he’s never lost it. I actually believed maybe Id get older and wisen up to my choices of the people that influence me, and in many cases I have, but I am glad to know that Brandon Boyd is still very much on top of the list. Here, featured on DITLO, you get to see some inside scoop photos, where Boyd takes up through his house, toys, and daily activities. Credit to Brian Bowen Smith for the beautiful pictures. Take a LOOK, and don’t forget to follow through on a new art book and solo record from Mr. Boyd this summer. We’ll keep you in the loop.
The corks have not been put back. As a matter of fact, one of dem cracked the chandelier and now we’re using the broken pieces as ices. So yea, maybe this party ain’t what you expected. But every night has it’s slowdance moment. We take a moment here to relax, sip our r&b juices and realize why we fell in love with her in the first place.
Recently put up that teaser video which introduced us to the Almighty Sion. Thanks to XLR8R, a tune for download from the record was released, Basket, a tune full of whistles, flutes, and high pitched world drums. This is all for the anticipation of the release, which you’ll find here (officiallly April 22nd)

SASHA GO HARD - PRETTY FLY
In similar fashion to JUNGLYPUSSY, this girl be keeping it her style, and it’s a damn cute one at that (plus she’s from Chicago). Sasha’s got load of videos all over the tube and it was hard to pick one, but the bouncey, almost bashment vibe on this one made it unresistable to me. Maybe it’s just a white guy with a beard ting (check that guy). COMPLEX interviews and unveils more. One of these folks gotta stick around longer than 5 minutes tho (yes Chief Keef, sad face to your debut). Sasha’s got mixtapes and tracks available via Pitchfork. I’m deep in this scene right now.
